Changing landscape of television
Television has been a part of every Indian
household from time immemorial. Those uncountable daily-soaps watched by mothers
and grandmothers, the world-cups, the news, etc would not have been possible
had televisions not been invented. However, the old school box televisions that
we had back when we were young had gradually started to lose its position as
flat-screened LCD’s and LED’s overtook. Therefore, the landscape of television
technology has seen various significant changes and improvements, offering a
plethora of technologies ranging from QLEDs to Android OS and Ultra HD. The
coming of the internet generation has also led to the advent of internet TVs.
In this article, we will explore the changing landscapes of televisions and the
prices of LED televisions.
With the advent of the latest technology
and innovations, televisions can no longer be termed as an idiot-box. It is
rather that device which binds the entire world together. Watching televisions
broadens our perspective in various fields as it is that medium through which
we come to know about what is happening in any part of the world. Although,
internet too helps with that, but for our grandparents and even parents, the
traditional television is their daily dose of infotainment. Today, LED TVs have
taken over the market in full swing. With features like Organic Light Emitting
Diode (OLED) panels, it lights up individual pixels on the screen, making it
soothe the eye. Today, the sizes of LED ranges from the basic 32-inch-LED TV to as big as 64 inches.
Along with wider viewing angles which provide ultra HD resolution, these TVs
also includes features like built-in Wi-Fi. Therefore, now you don’t have to
watch your favourite Netflix show on your laptop screens. You can directly
access internet in your TVs now, all you need is a Wi-Fi connection at home!
However, A 32-inch-LED TV is more likely to be found in most households as the
luxury of owning a 64 inch does not pertain to all families. Therefore, the prices of such LED TVs may range from
something as minimal as 20,000 to a good 75,000. The price range basically
depends on what brand are you opting. Today, there are numerous brands in the
market which offers LEDs at very low prices too. But the decision of being a
smart buyer is yours. You need to research well enough if you want to invest in
a good deal. However, talking about the prices of grand home-theatres, it will
cost you quite a lot. It may come up to something as high as 2-4 lakhs!
Therefore, the prices of LED TVs are
such that it can be aided to most families in India. If you are someone who does
not want to spend a fortune on TVs, you can opt for the 32 inches which are
available in a good price range offering excellent features. However, if you do
